Creative Vision
When I first played the game without the sounds, a list of many ideas came into my mind. I visualized the first world or planet Kraktoh as a very cold and quiet mystical planet, which it could be a rare place becasue the temperature, perfect for the "Barnabys" creatures that where appearing moving side to side escaping from the vaporizer coming from an autentic ship that where flying on the space. I was imagining a sound for the planet that could make you feel floating into a lonng and deep space, low pitch sound effect like a cold wind coming from the forest when is snowing. I though was great idea to record air coming from my house air conditioner, and for the Barnaby's voices which could be like a frog screaming when the were vaporizing, high middle pitch with similarities, I had not idea how to creat this sounds yet, but it took my attention as a challenge. Maybe look for a frog and record it could be the right procces to develop it. When I finished vaporizing the creatures and then the game moved to another and different darker planet, I was imagening to develop a different type of sound background that could match for that mysterious world, maybe a sound with more littles details like rocks crashing each other producing this type of low pitch sound describing mountain rocks planet, and getting the inspiration from the Star Wars movies. I was thinking record air driving my car with the window down and also add another effect from a mechanical sound like a metalic automatic door with small engine that could produce the sensation for the slow crashing motion. When I saw the Fnoon was great to meet a weird creature similar as a pig, then I was thinking about a sound with low pitch, like crying loud because getting distroy by the fire, maybe the inspiration could be a real pig screaming voice. For the space ship I was listening on my mind an electronic sound kind of supersonic plane sound but with slow motion sound effect. I though that it could be an amazing strategy to record this sound from a real airplane. I was thinking going to the airport and wait until a plane land to catch this effect. I can say that I was very inspire to start working on this project. I enjoyed this first process of imagination about the silence game "Uranus Attacks". I want to invite you to know how I finished my project and what I could come out with.
Creation Process
Kraktoh Ambience - Alejandro Ochoa de Miguel
For the ambient sound of "Kraktoh" I recorded the sound coming from my home air-conditioner. I wanted something that could help me imagine that I was inside the game, first planet, very cold, with ice on the ground and on top of the mountain, need it to be realistic. Regarding this creative picture inside my mind I came out with this very personal sound effect for Kraktoh showing an ambience with low sound effect that made the planet alive. During the process of editing I had to slow down the pitch of this audio and find the right soft air effect. Listening to great feedback from my team I could develop this.
Dkuk Ambience - Alejandro Ochoa De Miguel
For the ambient of "Dkuk" I recorded my garage metallic automatic door that I though was the right source to use for this type of background effect. Very nice to found out that I was able to develop this sound. I wanted this planet has more sound details around itself regarding the audio effect, and for example as you can see I got a different motion and pitch for this planet, making it going along with the ambient of the planet. I used elastic audio in order to get the low pitch with more space thinking about the game to have more room for the rest of the audios. Collecting some feedback from my team I could creat this sound.
Ship Engine - Alejandro Ochoa De Miguel
For the Engine Ship I recorded the sound from my car engine. I wanted to create a sound that could show the image up that I figured out in my imagination about the sound of the ship . I wanted something close to the reality even though it is hard to imagine how an Ovni sound looks like. I used elastic audio and also modulation Air Phaser to develop the right pitch and rhythm for this audio effect. I also worked with my team to add some ideas for the project. I think what I could create gave me the final product for an original sound to the ship.
Vaporizer - Alejandro Ochoa De Miguel
For the Vaporizer I got a new idea about recording this audio. I wanted an effect similar to the febreze high pressure bottle sprayer. I was looking for the sound alike as the fire, and adding air high pressure to create the sound effect for the shoot. I had to be very detailed during the mixing of the sound because its had to be not to long and very clear. As you can see in the picture I used a Tine Steel Rake. We moved it fast right to left many time on the air until I catch the sound I needed from the combination of the plastic and the metal assemble from the Rake. I was happy from the final result. I would say this sound was the one that took me more time during the process of editing.
Teleport In - Alejandro Ochoa De Miguel
Teleport Out - Alejandro Ochoa De Miguel
For these two sound effects I was looking for any sound that introduce as an oppening the ship into the game and closing the game as well. I did many experiments mixing air pressure with other sound coming from glasses, and objects from my home but the one I like more was the one I made on the picture, rubbing a wood hair brush over my guitar amplifier. I was able to get the right pitch and speed motion from it, just perfect for what I need. I tryed to expand an unique inspiration because these sounds are very important for the game. They are the open door to start the journey. Also, I need to include that the mixing process was the one that closed the main idea regarding this particular sound.

Small Heading
For the Barnaby sounds I was not able to record the animal I was thinking, because I wanted a high pitch voice from a baby frog, but not possible. By then, I had to use one from free sound effect website. I picked up another different animal: couguar high pitch voice, very engaging to play with and develop the sound I needed for it. With some recomendation from my team and also the set up I used, elastic audio lowing the pitch and puting little faster the speed helped me to came out with the finally Barn crying voice.
For the Fnoon sounds I used one from the free library website. This one I wanted very unique using low pitch voice but with similarities as a terrific wolf. The Fnoon look like a pig but I did not want a pig sound for this creature. So, I decided to pick up a coyote high pitch voice and I lowed it, and changing the speed moving into a faster motion I got this authentic sound. I loved it, I think was one of my best sound effects for the project.

Implementation
Uranus Attacks is a great game to start playing with if you are not very familiar with video games yet. The principal of the game is that a ship space needs to vaporize two type of rare creatures that are living in two different planets. Planet 01 is called: Kraktoh, this one has an ambience that looks like a very cold mountainuos galactic empire with a slow and misteriously sound effect as a background. In Kraktoh you have to vaporize the creature called: Barn, they look like monster frogs. Every time you vaporize one of these Barn they cry. In order to play with the ship you have to move it with your mouse from left to right and clicking on it you can shoot the creatures. Planet 02, called: Dkuk has another ambience. This is darker than Kraktoh and it has its own sound effect background as well. You will be shooting with the vaporizer, effect that come from the ship the creature called: Fnoon, those are very uglys and when they die they yell with an unique sound effect through their voices. The rule is that you need to vaporize 6 creatures in each planet in order to complete the game.
